Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these terms. You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.

2. Purpose of the service

CofyConnect supports platonic social meetups in public places. It is not a dating service, transportation provider, venue operator, background check service, emergency service, or guarantor of another person's identity or conduct.

3. Your conduct

You agree to communicate respectfully, honor platonic boundaries, and follow applicable law. You may not harass, threaten, deceive, discriminate against, exploit, impersonate, or solicit another user for romantic, sexual, commercial, or illegal purposes. You may not misuse reporting or safety tools.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant CofyConnect a limited, worldwide license to host, display, process, and use that content as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service. You are responsible for having the right to share your content.

5. Meetups and safety

You decide whether, where, and when to meet another person. Use public venues, arrange your own transportation, tell someone you trust, protect personal information, and leave if you feel uncomfortable. Review the Disclaimer for additional safety information.

6. Plans and payments

A free plan is expected at launch. Any paid subscription, price, renewal term, trial, and cancellation method will be presented through the App Store before purchase. App Store billing rules may also apply.

7. Enforcement and termination

We may investigate conduct and limit, suspend, or terminate access when we reasonably believe these terms, community safety, or law have been violated. You may stop using the service and request account deletion.

8. Service availability

Features may change, pause, or end. We do not promise uninterrupted service, a particular match, a successful meetup, or compatibility between users.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without warranties of any kind. CofyConnect is not responsible for user conduct or independent venues. Liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be waived.
